If you have
someone to drive your vehicle
back down Mt. Revelstoke, take
the 27 km drive to the summit
and Meadows in the Sky Parkway,
then coast your bike back down,
enjoying the marvelous sights
along the way. Definitely a
relaxing way to explore Mt.
Revelstoke National Park.
If you are looking for some more
challenging riding, there are
many different areas to go, some
taking you to altitudes well
over 7000 feet.
Try Boulder Mountain, Standard
Basin Trail, Mount Cartier
Trail, The Akolkolex Valley,
Mount Revelstoke or the Pingston
Lake area.
The Mount MacPherson area has a
large amount of well developed
mountain bike trails, with a
large chalet located centrally
in the park. Trails range from
tame to VERY challenging. The
Beaver Lake trail also offers an
interpretive rainforest trail,
highlighting many different
ecological zones. Begbie Falls
is also close by via the Begbie
Creek Trail.
