Trails range from gentle to
strenuous, and are in a unique
and spectacular wilderness
setting. Almost all of the
trails are within a 5-minute
drive from Revelstoke, and are
easily accessed right from the
highway. The most popular areas
for Nordic skiing are Mt. MacPherson, Mount Revelstoke,
and the Revelstoke Golf Course.
The Mt. MacPherson Cross Country
Ski Trails are the premiere
destination for cross-country
skiing in the Revelstoke area.
There is currently 22 km of
groomed trails, with a wide
range of difficulty. A nice
rustic cabin is in the central
area of the trail system,
providing a good place to warm
up and socialize with other
skiers.
Parks Canada, at times, grooms
the Meadows in the Sky Parkway
in Mount Revelstoke National
Park. The trail rises gently and
continuously to the Monashee
Lookout. The trail is usually
groomed with a snowmobile and
track setter for classic skiing
only. Parks Canada can be
contacted at 250-837-7500 to
determine when the trail was
last groomed.
The Revelstoke Golf Club grooms
a 5 km loop at the golf course.
It is ideal for beginners or
those who want a gentle ski. Set
amongst giant evergreens and
sided by the Columbia River, it
makes an enchanted night ski. We
ask that all skiers stick to the
trails, as there has been damage
to the greens in the past.
Visit the
Revelstoke Nordic Ski
Club Website for further
information on these areas, as
well as trail maps and passes,
grooming schedules, events,
safety and more.
